Botanically dyed biodynamic knitting wool

Grown on Eden Valley Farm, this unique biodynamic knitting wool is soft and defined.

Our product range consists of 100 gram balls of knitting wool (dyed and undyed) and undyed sliver (for felting, spinning and craft work).

Our coloured wool range is hand dyed using botantical dyes. This process produces a delicate, natural yarn colour.

Australian Merino wool 90 years in the making

Our knitting wool is spun from 21 micron Demeter certified bio-dynamic Merino wool grown on our farm at Dumbleyung, Western Australia.

Our Merino sheep have been bred for 90 years under the management of four generations of the Lloyd family to produce the smooth yarn we enjoy today.

The story behind our wool

Our holistic, ecological approach to farming

Since 1988, Eden Valley Farm has been farmed under the biodynamic method.

Practising ecologically sustainable agriculture protects the Earth’s resources and significantly improves soil, animal and plant wellbeing.

About biodynamic farming

Soft hues sourced from our backyard

Natural dyes are used to achieve the soft pastel hues of our coloured knitting wool range. These dyes are sourced from weeds, kitchen waste and native plants cultivated on the farm.
